Our training program

I want to be a Missionary of Africa

After a time of accompaniment (discernment) to ensure the vocation of a future candidate, during which we collect the various papers necessary, there is for all candidates (future priests or future Brothers) the following steps :

FIRST STEP:

First community life experience, and philosophy studies

SECOND STEP:

Spiritual year (other congregations speak Novitiate), deepening the personal relationship to Jesus Christ.

THIRD STEP:

A two-year internship in a community in Africa, while discovering various forms of missionary work.

FOURTH STEP:

Theology

For the future priests:
Four years, to be able to account for the experience of the Christian faith.

For the future Brothers:
maximum of four years: to account for the experience of the Christian faith through work.
